Papa Nui Brushstroke Camo Cap
The Papa Brushstroke cap is a long time coming, a cap that came about after conversations with Papa's friend, Lauren Yates of Ponytail Journal. Lauren graciously switched the Papa onto the most perfect featherweight summer fabric, a Japanese Ramie flax that makes into a cap of unsurpassed beauty.
The Brushstroke camouflage print, a concept developed by the British Ministry of Defense, formulates the initial idea of using large mop-like brushes to paint over a standard khaki background. It is generally accepted to be most influential in the development of derivative designs included the French Lizard and the Vietnamese Tiger stripe.
The Papa Brushstroke is built into a cap with a deep aviators profile, his signature 7.5cm visor and a herringbone twill sweatband that adds body to the sublime detailing.
